This new 2014 McLaren P1 is a very special new car. It is limited to only 375 units, and all units has been sold out already. Its price starts from 1.15 million USD ($). 75 percent of the 2014 McLaren P1 customers have arranged some level of unique design on their awaiting supercars, but because of that unique design, the price jumped to almost 1.6 million USD ($).
The 2014 McLaren P1 is a very special car not just because it is a rare and expensive car. It is a very special car, because it has some really special performance stats.
The new car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. In total, it can produce up to 903 hp (664 kW) and up to 722 lbs-ft (978 Nm) of torque.
The car features a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a rear-wheel-drive system. With all this power and fast shifting, the car can easily accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in only 2.8 seconds. It can accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h (0-124 mph) in only 6.8 seconds. It can reach 0-300 km/h (0-186 mph) in only 16.5 seconds. A standing quarter mile can be driven in 9.8 seconds at 152 mph (245 km/h). Top speed is limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).
As you can see from the stats above, the car is a beast. But it has some more things about it that are truly special as well. Its fuel efficiency is only 8.3 L/100 km or 28 MPG (US). I’d say that is very impressive.
