The Finest Of Machines

The motor and biking industry has produced some real beasts over the last year. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a driver or a biker, if you’re a true petrol head, you’ll appreciate the beauty offered from each side. As the years go on, the technology advances that much, and we are left with some truly amazing vehicles. If you have been living under a rock for the last year and would like a quick update on what’s been going on, this is the article for you.

Bikes

To some people, bikes are inferior. The people who say this are the ones who have never stepped on a bike before in their life. To prove that point, let’s talk about the famous Kawasaki Ninja. An evil bike that has ruled the biking world for a while now. But year on year they just keep getting better. One of the most famous that is really popular still today is the Ninja H2. Online shops such as Solomotoparts are still selling spares for the model, even though there has been a few new models released. An all black beauty that’s power will blow your brains off. It has a 4 stroke liquid cooled, that with one tap of them throttle will send your hurtling towards the abyss. The sleek design of the bike just looks so beautiful. It doesn’t look any different to the previous models really, it is just the power that has changed.

Cars

One of the most incredible cars that’s been produced this year in terms of power and technology is the Rimac Concept One. Famously brought to light by Richard Hammond’s near fatal crash, the Rimac was shown as an absolute beauty. It is a 1200bhp car, powered purely by electricity. That’s an eye watering amount of power, one that saw it beat the Honda NXF and the Lamborghini Aventador. The only downside to the car is that it does need recharging a lot. There’s batteries powering each wheel, those batteries are what is producing the 1200bhp. As good as the technology might be, they aren’t going to be able stay charged for long. But, if you have the patience and money to pull over every so often for a quick charge, this is the car for you.

We might as well stay on the track of supercars and talk about the incredible Aston Martin DB11. It was first rolled out in August 2016, but has really grown in popularity this year. The DB11 is powered by a 5.2 litre V12 engine. Just like the Rimac, that is going to pack one hell of a punch. The design is amazing always, everything looks super sleek and as usual, follows the James Bond theme of the DB9 that we all know and love.

Just from these three models we can see how the motor industry is changing. There’s so much technology being pumped into them all, it really is amazing to see. What the future holds, we don’t know, but we like where it’s heading.
