Car of the day – Marussia 3.5-liter Cosworth V6 420 hp supercar 1920×1080 HD
The Marussia B2 (pictured), is built on the same frame as its B1 predecessor but gets a specially built 3.5 liter Cosworth V6 ranging from 300 HP (220 kW) to 420 HP (309 kW). The weight of this vehicle is only 1100 kg (2425 lbs), and with all this power, the car can easily accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds.
Marussia Motors was founded in 2007 by former musician, actor and racing driver Nikolay Fomenko, strategist Efim Ostrovsky, and technology entrepreneur Andrey Cheglakov. They have released two super cars, aptly named, Marussia B1 and Marussia B2.
The Marussia is also the very first Russian supercar. Knowing that it is the first, I should say that they’ve succeeded perfectly, because the car really is one decent car.
It is not a supercar with really a lot of power. And when i mean “really a lot of power”, I mean something like at least 800-900 HP. 420 HP doesn’t look that impressive, but this supercar is so light that even 420 HP is quite enough for it.
You can’t find anything superior about its power. It is basically just another, an average supercar if you look at the stats. But it’s not just about the power. The car does have something that makes it kind of unique – It’s the looks. The exterior looks very decent. All those lines look simply great.
If you want to buy something a little bit different, the Marussia B2 could be a good choice for that.
