This tuned ZR1 Corvette has a 6.2-liter LS9 supercharged V8 engine which produces up to 638 hp (476 kW) at 6500 rpm and torque of 604 lbs-ft (819 Nm) at 3800 rpm.
The car is an amazing creation. It is very powerful but at the same time so beautiful and very fast too. It can easily accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds. It can also reach a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
Although the Corvette is America’s sportscar, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has been designed for taking on the world. With its powerful engine, Carbon Fiber Galore, and lightweight skeleton made of aluminum, it is the most stylish Corvette ever built. It ranks along side Audi R8 and Lamborghini Gallardo and at the same time, gives its competitors a run for their money with its affordable rate and attractive looks. A quarter mile at 130 MPH in 11.3s is enough for outgunning most supercars of Europe.
Chassis of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 combines hydroformed beams (aluminum) with magnesium and aluminum structural components over carbon-fiber composite floors. It has several more carbon fiber body panels than any of its siblings. However, wider front fenders of carbon fiber with dual air vent were present in 1963’s Sting Ray. Rocker Panel’s thin moldings, roof panel, and front fascia splitter are all exposed carbon fiber weaves with special GM-developed clear-coat that are expected to safeguard them for the life of this Vette.
