Vehicle Detail

2nd gen green 1974 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 manual For Sale.

This car is built to look like the 80’s street race car I always wanted back then but couldn’t afford. She looks the part, but she actually has a complete Hotchkis suspension under there with coils and leaf’s for a 1 inch drop, sway bars, welded in subframe connectors, and all new poly bushings in the front stock control arms. The steering system is completely rebuilt with all new parts. The brake booster and master are also new. She has an Aluminum radiator with dual fans.

The engine is a Blueprint Engines 420 HP crate gasoline engine with aluminum heads (3500 miles on it). We then added a real 1968 Edelbrock street tunnel ram, new QFI 450 carbs, MSD pro billet distributor, and a billet scoop.

The trans is new (with just Hot Rod Power Tour miles). It is a Tremec TKX 5 speed with SST’s hydraulic clutch, cross member, and all new 2nd gen Camaro shifter. We used a Zoom Street/Strip clutch and a PST all new driveshaft to complete the install.

The original rear end (10 bolt) is pro built with 9-inch ends, welded tubes and girdled. We filled it with a Quick Performance 31 spline trac-lok, matching axles, and a 3:73 gear.

As far as overall the paint, body, and interior show well (about 8.5 out of 10) There is a full set of Auto Meter sport comp gauges installed. The car does have a rebuilt title due to the fact the car was rescued from a junkyard in Florida many years ago before restoration. Florida law requires a salvage title at that point. I was able to get it changed to rebuilt with a vigorous inspection from the state of Georgia (these guys went all through this car even behind panels looking for damage and such, they found nothing). I have the Goergia title in my name.

More various parts replaced in the past year: windshield (PGW) steering wheel (OER) taillight lenses (OER) shifter boot (OER) LED halo headlights Complete vintage set of Cragar SST’s (discontinued in 2011) with new front tires and good drag radials out back. There are lots of videos of building this car on our YouTube channel “The Family’s Garage”.

I have a Classic Auto Air conditioning direct fit kit ($1500 new in the box) that goes with it……and the Kenwood CD player works!!!

All major components have less the 3500 limes on them.

$30,000
