4th gen 1994 Z28 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE option car For Sale.

4th Gen 1994 Camaro Z28 6 speed 1LE option car. This is a super rare 1 of 114 built in1994. It was built for a showroom stock and autocross prep package. 1LE camaro’s and firebird’s dominated series like the Motorola Cup or Firehawk series in 1994. It came with upgraded Suspension, Corvette Brakes, Aluminum driveshaft, special fuel tanks with internal baffling, stainless steel exhaust. It basically stripped down with no frills including the cheapest six cylinders cloth interiors, No power windows, door locks, No a/c all to cut weight and add rigidity to the body shells. With the LT1 fuel injected 5.7 engine bolted to the Borg Warner T-56 6 Speed transmission, it was made all about going fast on a road course!

The History of this car was The 1st owner (65 years old) purchased new from Tom Jumper Chev in 1994 and put 18k on the car (street use) 2nd owner (58 years old when purchased) Installed a Roll cage and Drove the Car to Various tracks (REMOVED) and used it for drivers schools, he was a performance driver instructor for BMW CCA another 9k on the car driving to the tracks and running in the drivers school’s. Never Raced. In early 1997 (still sporting the 1996 Olympic Tag) the car was put in a garage and covered up (due to illness) I have known the owner from the days when he was a instructor and I raced my car with BMW Club Racing. I own a AC Delco Professional service center and did various repairs when needed. The car sat until 2015 (18 years) when he towed it in to my shop to access what would be required to get it ready to sell. Being 76 years old now he didn’t really want to spend the money to fix it up so I offered to do the repairs and sell it for him. Please see attached repair order. Pro’s: The car drives and looks like new, the paint came out a lot better than I expected, the dash and interior are like brand new. Never been in accident all original paint and no rust.

Con’s: the hood and front end do show signs of high speed driving and has small chips (not enough to warrant a respray since it is original paint. It doesn’t have A/C !
