Car of the day – 2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Hawk Hamann 6.3-liter V8 1920×1080 HD

The 2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Hawk by Hamann is powered by a 6.3-liter V8 engine which produces up to 636 hp (468 kW) and torque of 501 lbs-ft (679 Nm) at around 4850 rpm. A standard base model features the same 6.3-liter V8 engine, but with little less power. The base model cranks up to 571 hp (420 kW) and torque of 479 lbs-ft (649 Nm) and it features a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Mercedes Hawk by Hamann can easily accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h or ~0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. The base model can do the same in 3.7 seconds. Top speed is 199 mph (320 km/h) for the base and Hamann versions.

The convertible beauty is on 21 inches wheels and 245/30 ZR 21 tires at the front and 345/25 ZR 21 tires at the rear. It also features a new exhaust system with 4 enormous end pipes, new side skirts, new rear apron and a new striking rear wing made of a checkered flag carbon.

The interior of the base model features a new set of black anodized aluminum pedals and a new steering wheel which has been ergonomically redesigned. The Hamann hasn’t changed anything for the interior of this Mercedes, so it’s the same as in the base model is.

The car looks really astonishing. It’s a small but powerful beast. The car handles very nicely, and it has all the great aspects of the supercar. The Hamann did some modifications on this car, and it made this car not just to look better than it looks already, but they also have managed to improve the power of this already powerful automobile.

Competitive models are: 2012 Aston Martin DB9, 2012 Aston Martin V12 Vantage & 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.

The price for a 2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Hawk Hamann convertible starts from around 196,000 USD ($). The price for a base model starts from around 189,000 USD ($).
