Dodge has introduced its latest creation from the Dodge Challenger series. The new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will be the most powerful American muscle car ever produced. Just keep reading and you’ll understand why we called it the most powerful American muscle car ever produced.
The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat features a 6.2-liter V8 engine. This engine produces up to 707 hp (520 kW) and torque of 650 lbs-ft (880 Nm). With all this power, the new Challenger can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds. It also can reach a top speed of 321 km/h (200 mph).
As you can see from the numbers above, this is definitely the most powerful Challenger ever produced and also the most powerful American muscle car ever produced. It means that by its power, the new model beats all other muscle cars around the world, but it also can be called the fastest muscle car ever produced. Currently, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has the best time for 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) and also the highest number for the top speed. Obviously we’re talking here about stock models. There are plenty of modified muscle cars that are faster than this new Challenger Hellcat is, but in the stock cars world, the Hellcat is the fastest.
The new SRT will be available with an eight-speed automatic transmission but also will be available with a six-speed manual transmission.
The official price for a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has not been released yet, but we can expect it to be more than 45,000 USD ($).
