Cars of the day – Nissan Skyline car models from 1971 to 2012 1920×1080 HD

This time we present some of the Nissan Skyline models in one place. Not all models, because there are Skyline models before 1971, but here you can see some of 2 door coupe models from 1971 to 2012. Below we are going to introduce all these models that you can see in that photo above. In short, we are going to introduce all these models engines and its power.

1971 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-X features a 2.0-liter L20 straight-six engine which produces 120 hp (88 kW).

1984 Nissan Skyline Facelift DR30 RS-Turbo features a 2.0-liter (1990 cc) FJ20ET DOHC turbo I-4 engine. This engine produces 205 hp (151 kW) at 6400 rpm and torque of 181 lbs-ft (245 Nm) at 4400 rpm.

1987 Nissan Skyline R31 Coupe 2000 GTS-R features a 2.0-liter RB20DET-R DOHC turbo I-6 engine. This engine produces 210 hp (154 kW) and torque of 181 lbs-ft (245 Nm). Racing versions can push up to 430 hp (321 kW).

1993 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R basically features the same 2.6-liter RB26DETT DOHC twin-turbo I-6 motor as the previous R32 model. However, its power increased to 305 hp (224 kW) and torque of 277 lbs-ft (375 Nm).

1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R is powered by a 2.6-liter RB26DETT twin-turbo inline-six engine. This engine produces 332 hp (244 kW) and torque of 289 lbs-ft (392 Nm).

2012 Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8-liter VR38DETT twin-turbo V-6 engine. This engine produces up to 542 hp (404 kW) at 6400 rpm and torque of 463 lbs-ft (628 Nm) at 3200-5800 rpm.

As you can see by releasing each new Skyline model, the makers improved not just its engine’s power, but looks were changed a lot as well. However, the new 2012 Nissan GT-R no more carries a “Skyline” badge. The new GT-R was a big improvement in many aspects of the car.
