To be in the top 10 fastest cars in the world list, the car must be not just powerful, but it also must be a very aerodynamic automobile. If a car can produce over 1000 hp, but if its aerodynamics are poor, you probably won’t reach that extreme high speed required to be in the top 10 fastest cars in the world list.
The top 10 fastest cars in the world list contains cars with some of the best aerodynamics and with brutal engines power as well. Yet again, even if your aerodynamics are perfect, but if you don’t have enough power under the hood, you can’t reach that extreme high speed.
All 10 cars in this list can do a top speed of over 350 km/h (217 mph). Each car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h or ~0-60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds. Each car is worth more than 500,000 USD ($), and each car can produce more than 600 hp. Also, all cars in this list are “street cars”, and not some cars made just for achieving a speed record.

The Bugatti is still the fastest car in the world, and currently no other car can beat this monster. This car is just getting more powerful and faster, and who knows what the future brings. Maybe pretty soon we’re going to get a Bugatti with over 500 km/h top speed. One thing is for sure that at this point there are no tires that can support such a high speed, unless the Bugatti could do from 450 km/h to 500 km/h in a very short period of time, otherwise it can end up nasty if your tire(s) burst at such a high speed.
