Car of the day – 2009 Bugatti Veyron Hermann Zu Leiningen Centenaire Edition 1920×1080 HD

This white chrome Bugatti is an extremely rare car. Only 4 Bugatti Centenaire models are made in the world. This new model has been added in celebration of Bugatti’s 100th anniversary. All four Bugatti’s are in a different exterior color. Dark-green chrome is for the Malcolm Campbell edition. White chrome is for the Hermann Zu Leiningen edition. Crimson chrome is for the Achille Varzi edition. Blue chrome is for the Jean-Pierre Wimille edition.

These 4 Bugatti’s were made to mark the 100th anniversary, and each color represents different country. Blue – France, red – Italy, green – England, and white – Germany. These four historic race cars represent the generation of legendary Bugatti Grand Prix racers, that’s why each color represents different country too.

3 out of 4 limited-edition Bugatti Veyron’s are owned by people from the middle-east. One of them is from Monaco and the rest two from Qatar.

Exterior roof-trim stripes and the rearview mirrors are of polished, anodised aluminium. Wheels have a special design enhanced by a bright red brake-capillar. Doors are covered with chrome and that gives some really unique and very attractive look. It’s so shiny that you almost can look like in a mirror.

Interior materials are fitted in a special snowbeige leather with quilting on seats. New LED lights, rearview camera, and a park distance control enhance the safety of the Centenaire. Basically these features are the same as you can find in standard Veyron models made from 2009. Central console is covered by the same leather as seats.

At first, most of the reports suggested that this new special edition model can produce up to 1400 hp (1030 kW), but it all was just rumors, and it was not true. Hermann Zu Leiningen engine is the same as in all Veyron 16.4 models. 8.0-liter (488 cu in) W16 quad-turbocharged engine produces 1001 hp (736 kW). Rumors also said that the top speed of this new model will be about 440 km/h (273 mph), but it’s the same 408 km/h (254 mph).

Normally, the engine is the same, and it hasn’t changed a bit. The only thing that was changed is looks of the exterior and interior. And obviously price has changed too. This new Bugatti was priced at 1,700,000 USD ($), without including taxes and transportation fees.
